Specification

1. Size limits: Area – 0.4″ x 0.4″ to 9.5″ x 9.5″ / Thickness 1.2mm-1.8mm
2. Color: Accepts Pantone color codes.
3. Backing: Hot melt adhesive & 3M adhesive & Velcro
4. Limitations of adhesive backing: Can withstand temperatures of 80°-100°C and a time of 8~12 seconds for fabrics.
5. Limitations of raised elements:
   • If there is a base in square TPU patch, individual letters can have a 0.5mm raised effect.
   • If there is no base in square TPU patch, individual letters can have a 0.8mm raised effect.
   • If there is a base, individual letters must be 0.5MM, and the gap must be 0.3mm.
   • 4 letters at 4*0.5MM=2.0MM, 3 gaps at 3*0.3=0.9MM, minimum size: 2.0+1.9=3.9MM
   • If there is no base, individual letters must be 0.8MM, and the gap must be 0.6mm.
   • 4 letters at 4*0.8MM=3.2MM, 3 gaps at 3*0.6=1.8MM, minimum size: 3.2+1.8= 5 MM
6. Textures: In some cases, it may be necessary to add some regular textures to the artwork. Our trained designers will determine the best option for incorporating this texture based on the product’s needs.
7. Washing information: TPU metal labels have no issues with 10 wash tests (35°C normal temperature wash test). Electroplated materials can be washed about 10 times at 30°-35°C. Pearlescent metallic colors can be washed about 5 times at 50°-55°C. Metallic colors will become darker with washing. This issue exists with both domestic and imported materials due to the nature of metallic color materials.
8. Shelf life: The normal shelf life is about 2-3 years. It will slowly turn yellow over time, depending on storage conditions and temperature.
9. Instructions for using hot melt adhesive: The normal temperature is 80°-100°C, and the time for low-temperature hot melt film is 8~12 seconds.
10. Instructions for using 3M adhesive: 3M adhesive is for direct application. 3M adhesive is not suitable for adhering to fabrics but is suitable for adhering to metal hardware, so no heat pressing is required.
